Due to the lockdown, many of us are just breaking the screens for watching more contents and some of us are spending most of our times with bed. I’m a right. After many investigations, I have found a perfect way to reduce your boredom and make your time fruitful. So I will be sharing tips to tackle bore down and spend your days at home. Gardening is one among the ways to tackle your boredom at the same time inspire or spend time with your family. It is a versatile hobby which can be practised in both indoor and outdoor. As you know due to the increase in demand for food supplies, the stock is becoming limited which will be learned to an increase in the price of food products. The fact is that with time and dedication, you can eat from your own garden in a span of 3 months. Below I will be mentioning the steps required to do both indoor and outdoor farming.

INDOOR GARDENING PRACTICES
I know most of us to have less space in our outdoors to start gardening, So I ‘m sharing some tips to start gardening inside your home or on your rooftop.
Traditional Methods
It includes planting your crop in a water bottle or in something that can hold soil.The plants that can be cultivated through this way are
- Onion
- Ginger
- Tomato
- And all other shrubs
Modern Methods
There are many methods to grow plants without soil. It includes
1.Aeroponics
It the practice of growing plants without soil. Here the plant is suspended in air and nutrients are given directly to its roots
Pros
- Space efficient
- No need for soil
- Can be cultivated anywhere with enough light
Cons
- The initial set up cost is high
- Falling leaves proves to be a problem especially in indoors
Plants that can be cultivated through this way
- Onion
- Tomato
- Ladies finger
- Peas
- And so on
2.Hydroponics
Here, water is used instead of air for cultivation. It is done through the continuous water system.
Pros
- No need for buying separate nutrient solution as fish tanks water can be used for this purpose
- Here, water can be recycled
Cons
- Need to maintain the water system regularly as the whole system depends on it.
